One of the things I love most about watercolor is its independent soul. You have to submit to its rules and despite its light appearance, it is strong and determined, poetic and profound. Simple spots on paper can become a forest in the fog...

My first approach with the watercolor was born from the fascination caused by the "stain". I liked to find out, after the drying time, what that layer of water and pigment had produced. The "stain" did not always recreate something pleasing to my eye, but little by little I learned to guide it gently, to understand its needs, to follow its will and then adapt it to what gratified me.
